Liposuction is a surgical procedure performed by Sculpted Figures Plastic Surgery for the client of Columbia which helps improve the body shape and permanently remove unwanted fat from different body areas.
Liposuction Procedure
Liposuction is performed with a small incision; a hollow metal tube is inserted to remove the excess fat. A vacuum device is also used. After eliminating the excess fat, the incisions are closed by applying a compression dressing or bandage to the area in order to prevent bleeding, reduce swelling, and support the affected area. This plastic surgery procedure can take anywhere from 1 hour to several hours. It is dependent on the exact procedure being performed.
